Our Process
Initial Intake & Assessment
Every family begins with a confidential intake session to understand their circumstances and service needs. Our supervisor meets with the child(ren) and resident parent or caregiver to explain the process, establish rapport, and gather essential information, including medical needs, allergies, behavioural or emotional considerations, cultural requirements, and relevant court orders or parenting arrangements. This enables us to develop an appropriate supervision plan.Supervised Contact
Visits take place in a safe, neutral, and child-friendly environment under the guidance of a professionally trained supervisor. We monitor interactions, encourage positive communication, support the child’s wellbeing, and ensure sessions are conducted in accordance with court orders or agreed arrangements.Observation & Reporting
Each session is independently observed and documented in a factual, objective report. Observations focus on interactions, communication, behaviour, and significant events. Reports may be provided to solicitors, legal representatives, or the Court where authorised or requested.Changeover Facilitation
Safe, Calm and Child-Focused Transitions
At SafeBridge Family Services, we provide professionally managed changeover facilitation to ensure children move safely between parents in a calm, neutral, and supportive environment. Our structured process is designed to minimise conflict, reduce stress, and place the child’s wellbeing at the centre of every transition.To support a smooth handover, parents are allocated separate arrival and departure times, preventing direct contact and reducing the potential for conflict. Clear written instructions are provided before each appointment, outlining designated drop-off and pick-up times, arrival procedures, and service expectations.
Our experienced supervisors oversee every changeover, ensuring the child is safely transferred between parents with care, professionalism, and sensitivity. By maintaining a secure, respectful, and child-focused environment, we help create positive transitions that promote children’s emotional security while supporting families through safe and effective parenting arrangements.
Service Charge
The prices are as follows. Minimum charge is 2 hours per session.
- Weekdays – $90 per hr
- Weekends – $100 per hr
- Public Holidays – $120 per hr
SafeBridge Family Services provides professionally managed, conflict-free changeovers by scheduling separate arrival and departure times for each parent, minimising direct contact and reducing potential conflict. Parents receive clear email instructions outlining designated drop-off and pick-up times, together with straightforward procedures to ensure safe, smooth, and child-focused transitions.
Changeover Fee:
- Weekday – $50 per change over
- Weekends – $60 per change over
- Public Holiday – $70 per change over
